Even though we know marijuana as a recreational drug, marijuana has infact been used medicinally for thousands of years.

In writing this article I came across some information into fibromyalgia but unfortunately not enough but here is what I did find.

In Canada, the use of recreational use of marijuana (also known as cannabis) is illegal under federal law, at least for another 2 months. However, Canada passed laws to decriminalize its use for the treatment of specific medical conditions back in 1999 and in fact it was even offered by many doctors in the early nineties for cancer patients..

As a result, more and more people are considering it as a treatment for pain, nausea, and other symptoms, including those associated with fibromyalgia.

Many of the symtons related to fibromyalgia we already know marijuana can help with symptons like naucea, pain, sleeping problems and more. Studies have been done and are still being done into the benefits of using marijuana as viable treatment for fibromyalgia. Unfortunatle as i stated early there is still not enough to give us a view of the full benefits and many of the studies are said to be controversial.

If you have some interesting facts or are aware of some sudies that underway or have been completed please share this with us here in the comment section or on our forum. Our goal is to help anyone looking for information into medical marijuana as a possible to treatment to their sickness.
